I seem to have forgotten how much fun
New York Magazine is! One of the back issues I'm trawling through describes the
dernier cri in New York: spam musubi. "A Spam Musubi, for those who are not aware, is a Hawaiian delicacy like sushi made with fried Spam instead of raw fish. Imagine a block of sticky rice, with a slab of Spam on top, wrapped in dried nori seaweed, and you've got it." Also check out Norko Takiguchi's
How to Eat Sushi.
