Freedom of Speech Exercised

Listened to Glen Jones and X-Ray Burns on WFMU yesterday — a show I used to be able to live without — and I forget which one had just seen Sid & Nancy — I think it was X-Ray — started talking about how Nancy, as portrayed in the movie, was just asking to be snuffed, and then someone added — maybe Jonesy — that their only regret was that Sid Vicious had not lived long enough to stab Moby to death. I happen to like Moby, but I like the threat of gratuitous violence just a bit more.
